Numerous new buildings have been added to the university over the centuries, and with the library, twelve faculties, seven institutes and four research centers, it forms a mix of numerous architectural styles in the midst of Vilnius’ Old Town. The Faculty of Medicine is one of the largest faculties of Vilnius University, with seven departments, two institutes and eleven clinics. More than 3,200 students study here and almost 100 doctoral students are enrolled. The faculty cooperates with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and Unesco.

Admission Process
In Vilnius, you can apply now, even if you don’t receive your baccalaureate degree until the summer; because the final grade is irrelevant. Admission requirements are successful participation in an entrance test and a motivational interview that thanks to MediStart you can do online. MediStart prepares you optimally through our online coaching sessions. Applying to Vilnius University is done by taking the MediTest-EU. This test consists of a written part (60%) focused on Biology, Chemistry and general knowledge and a motivation and aptitude interview (40%). The success rate of MediStart applicants has so far been over 90%. The MediTest-EU is done online, which means you can do it from home. As proof of language proficiency, a grade of at least average in English, or a pass, is sufficient.
